The Name - A legacy

The birth center name was chosen to honor a midwife who has worked in this area for so many years, building access to midwifery care, homebirth, and advancing midwifery practice. Patrice Bobier has poured out years of dedication in the lakeshore area. She has been an encouragement to midwives, enabling practice to become what it is today. The name Full Circle Birth Center is in honor of her private practice, Full Circle Midwifery, which has served the community for 40 plus years. Through MCBI and our initiatives, we hope to continue her legacy of education, encouragement, sustainability, and evidence based quality care. We are grateful for all that Patrice has done in our community.
